Shauna Bowen is the Children’s Director at First United Methodist Church of Durant. She has come to this church since she was 11 years old and has helped with many of the children’s ministry events. She is from Durant, OK and is currently going to college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University majoring in Early Childhood Education to become an Elementary school teacher. Shauna loves being around children and getting to share that God loves them and is always with them no matter what happens. Her goal is to get the word out about this ministry and help teach kids about God’s word. When Shauna is not in church, she loves to play games, paint, and dance. She also loves hanging out with her loved ones and getting to do fun activities together. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
