Youth:  7th - 12th Grades

The key to our ministry is building dynamic relationship with students, both inside and outside of church. Partnering with parents and leaders, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming and inviting while making Jesus relevant and famous in the lives of each student.

We have weekly programming during the school year and a separate summer program that focuses more on going beyond our walls and into the community we live in. However, our programs are secondary to our small group relationships. Our small groups are designed to build relationships with peers and leaders so they can walk through the good times and the bad times of life together.

These small groups also give us the freedom to see where God is leading and moving us, so we can be very intentional about following Jesus. Because we are not hindered by a program, we have a variety of ways to Invite students, Grow students, and Send students throughout the year.

Our schedule allows us more opportunities and ways we can invite, more ways to serve others, more ways students can be involved, more ways we can be apart of the big picture in the lives of students, and more ways to experience God.

God has called each of us by name, and has a purpose for each one of us. Students learn to find their identity in Christ and learn to be very intentional with their own personal relationships with Christ. Leaders are continually pointing each student to Christ by being the people God has called us to be and loving on each one of them unconditionally.

There are three things that we believe every student should experience.

1. Continual amazement with Wonder of their heavenly father and how much he loves them. There’s more to life than what we can see with our eyes. God initiated a relationship with us, and the Christian faith is learning how to pursue this relationship. We’re invited not just to believe in Jesus, but to follow Him through faith.

2. Pursuing a lifestyle of Discovery, where their identity is determined by a personal relationship with Christ.  I have been uniquely made to contribute to God’s world. We are the loved son and daughters of the perfect father. I am continually being changed by my growing relationship with God.

3. A sense of Passion that will move them from a being just a fan of Jesus and more to becoming like Jesus and changing this world. God allows us to participate with Him in restoring a broken world. We live in the complexity of relationships and the value God places on them. As the people of God, our lives are marked by our love for one another.
